Year in Review Class 2011
 

For the third year Kelli will be teaching the Year in Review Class.  The class will meet the fourth Thursday of each month at 11 am or 6 pm.  In each class you will create a double page layout using paper from a different manufacturer each month.  By the end of the year you will have created 24 pages total and learned dozens of new techniques. 

The cost of the class is $12 per class.  If you pay for the whole year by January 15th you will receive a 12 x 12 album free to hold the pages you create.  There are only a 5 spaces left.

Crop Sign Up Policy
 
 
Reservations for crops will be made via  e-mail to Ashley@amemorytoscrap.com .  You can only reserve spots for yourself and 3 other people.  Your e-mail should include the names of all the people you are reserving for.  Your e-mail also needs to include a phone number where you can be reached.  Finally your e-mail should say whether you are coming in the store to pay for the crops or would you like to pay by credit card.  I will e- mail you back to let you know that you got in the crop.

Fall Garage Sale this Saturday from 10 to 3
  We will begin giving out tickets to people in line at 9 am.   This is going to be a huge garage sale.  Many of the vendors have already told me the things they are bringing to sell, and I assure you there will be many great deals


Classes in November
 

November 4th - 11 am and 6 pm $20- Abby has created a very classy Christmas accordian album.  It is a perfect gift.  Once you learn the technique, you can recreate it for any occasion.  Come by and see the demo. An Additional supply list is available at the store

November 10th - 11 am & 6 pm $20 - Kelli has created a precious Give Thanks Quotes Album.  The chipboard album is full of inspiring quotes and wonderful places to preserve precious pictures.  Come by and see the sample and get signed up.

November 11th - 11 am & 6 pm $20 -Molly will be teaching an all occasion card class.  You will create 4 card and envelopes using some of our newest papers.  She will even give you a template to use to make envelopes or your own. Come by and see the samples and get signed up.

November 14th - Sunday at 2 pm $20- Jannea had created a very pretty double page layout using Making Memories' brand new line, Noir.  The pages are classy with a hint of fun.  This class is good for the beginner, but will have enough technique to keep the advance scrapbooker intrigued.

Fall Garage Sale Oct 30th
 
The fall garage sale will be October 30th from 10 am to 3 pm.  We will begin giving out tickets to people in line at 9 am.  If you are already a confirmed vendor and do not have your vendor number, please contact me for your number.  This is going to be a huge garage sale.  Many of the vendors have already told me the things they are bringing to sell, and I assure you there will be many great deals.

Sunday 17th event for Cheryl Siever

In scrapbooking style please join us to celebrate the life of our very dear friend Cheryl Siever. 
Please bring a favorite potluck snack item and come in cropping attire, and a favorite story. We will gather at noon on Sunday the 17th to eat, to shed some tears, share some laughs, and celebrate the life of a wonderful woman.

Sad news

 Funeral details:  The visitation will be from 2-4 on Sunday the 10th and the funeral will be on Monday at Moore's funeral home on 51st between Mingo and Memorial.

Last night Cheryl Siever passed away in her sleep.. 
Cheryl was a avid scrapbooker and was always at the store having fun with her friends and even scrapbooked this weekend she will be greatly missed by all that she touched in her life.

Green Country Scrapbook Run Begins in 1 week

First Annual Green Country Scrapbook Run  Sept 17th through Sept 25th


Can you say road trip? Seven of the Tulsa area scrapbook stores have gotten together to provide you an excuse to get together with your friends for a road trip, go scrapbook shopping, and win prizes. Between Friday, September 17th at 10 am and ending September 25th at 5 pm visit the stores listed below to obtain a stamp in your passport (you can obtain a passport at any of the participating scrapbook stores). Once you have completed your passport, you name will go in the drawing for the several grand prizes.


Want more ways to earn tickets for the grand prize drawings? At each store pick up a piece to complete a memory album. Show the completed album to one of the participating stores, and they will give you another ticket. Please note: The base of the album is at A memory to Scrap (Broken Arrow), the paper for the pages is given at Simply Scrapbooks (Claremore), and the binding f the album is done at Croppertunities (Sand Springs).  Want even more ways to win tickets for the drawing? Spend $50 in a store, and that store will give you an extra ticket for the drawing.  Does all that running around make you hungry? Spend $20 at A Memory to Scrap, and you will be given a cute take out box that you can fill at our candy bar. Just something for you to nibble on while you are going from store to store.


To provide everyone more an opportunity to get your passport stamped, A Memory to Scrap will be open every day between Sept 17th and Sept 25th. Please check the calendar on our website for our hours.

FAQ for the RUN
1. Do you have to run? No please drive.

2. Will there be supplies provided to put together the album? Some stores will have items our, but I suggest you take along your basic tools

3. Do I have to do the stores in any certain order? No Just keep in mind if you are doing the album as listed above the stores where the base, paper, and binding will be given out.

4. When and how will the grand pizes be drawn? The Monday after the run all of the stores are meeting. We will put all the entries together and draw the lucky winners.

5. Do I have to do all the stores in one day? No. The run lasts for eight days. As long as you have comleted the passport by 5 pm Sept 25th, it does not matter how many you do in a day.

6. Will all the stores be open all the days of the run? A Memory to Scrap will be open (check the calendar on the website for the hours), but I am not sure about all the stores.

7. Do I have to do the album? No it is up to you. You can choose to do just th passport. It only takes one enry to win.

September 25th - Christmas Cards - 11 am $20 - For all of you looking for a Saturday class, here is a great one with Molly. You will create 4 cards and envelopes to help you get a jump on your holiday card making. She will even give you a template to use to make envelopes or your own. Come by and see the samples and get signed up.


October 7th - Greeting Card Book -11 am and 6 pm $30- For all you card markers this class is a MUST. Abby has created the coolest spiral bound card holder book that separates cards by the month. You will create the whole book from scratch. It holds all sizes of card including the cool ones that Molly makes. The pages are made of acetate, so they will not tear. When I saw the demo the other day, I was even wowed. Because the class is detailed, we are lmiting the number of people. Don't miss out.

Fall Garage Sale Oct 30th

Sign up Beginning Sunday at 1pm.  The fall garage sale will be October 30th from 10 am to 3 pm. If you have scrapbook items, that need to find a new home, this is your chance to get rid of them. There will be a $5 fee to rent the table. If you stay during the 30th to watch your table, I will take a 5% commission and you can get a check or store credit. If you need to leave your table for us to wacth, I will take a 10% commission and you can get store credit.

Stop by this weekend

Don't forget to stop in tonight or tomorrow for the Demo's that will be going on at the store and also since this is a 3 day crop weekend the store on Friday will be open till midnight and on Saturday as well then on Sunday till 8pm so come on by for some great late night shopping with us. Classes in August and September
August 28th - Christmas Cards - 11 am $20 - For all of you looking for a Saturday class, here is a great one with Molly. You will create 4 cards and envelopes to help you get a jump on your holiday card making. She will even give you a template to use to make envelopes or your own. Come by and see the samples and get signed up.

September 2nd - 11 am and 6 pm $20- For all you who who having been eyeing all the cute items that Abby makes each holiday, here is your chance. In this class you will create a cute Abby style item for all the major holidays. Once you finish the class, you will be ready for the whole year.

Crops in August and September


There is a rumor going around that our crops are always full. This is not the case. There is plenty of space, so e-mail me at ashley@amemorytoscrap.com or call the store at 872-9104 to reserve a spot. Crop fee is due at signup.

Friday crops are $5 and Saturday and Sunday crops are $10. Payment is due at sign up. We offer a frequent cropper program also when you pay for 10 crops, your 11th crop is free.

Cropping is free during regular store hours when we do not have a scheduled crop.
