September Monthlu Kit is Now Online

The September Kit is now online and ready for one time purchase for $24.95. This kit is also a great kit to begin a subscription with.

This kit is truly a girly kit. The paper is embossed and glittered. The little flowers are frosted. Even the polka dots on the letters and ribbon are shiny.

The design team has done a great job of creating pages to use with pictures of the pricess in your life. Another spin on the pages for someone like me who is surrounded by boys, I am going to use my pages to describe me and my likes. Since I rarely get to do frilly pages in my book for the rest of my family, this months kit provides me the right tools to do just that.

Here is the link to the page layouts that are included with colors photos and instructions in this months kit:

This Week-ends Crop

Thanks to ALL the wonderful ladies that attended the crops on Friday night and Saturday. We had a blast.

Laurie and Karen made some of the cutest baby pages. The Lola & Luke Paper from 3 Bugs really made Laurie's 8 Month Pages precious. Gael and Bobbie, bless their hearts, made great pages for their Red Hat Group without even having a single picture. Dawna and Diana both finished off albums they had been working on. Isn't that just be the best feeling? I could just go on and on about the fun and pages we created.

The ticker has been reset for the next crop, September 7th, contact me to join the fun.

Something Fun Came in UPS Today

7 Gypsies arrived today. They always have cool things. Since this was the first day of school, I decided to play with their new Textured Rubbings. Oh my Gosh these are SOOOO cool. How it works is that the rub-on is clear and you rub it where ever you want. (I am VERY picky about how well rub-ons work, these do great). Then you choose if you want the rub-on to be glitter or velvet which you then rub-on over the clear rub-on.

There is a border set that I played with. What I loved is this diamond pattern. I was able to make one diamond red velvet and the next black velvet. If I want it SUPER bright, I just applied the color twice.

A couple other companies released these also at CHA. What I liked about 7 gypsies is that I got to choose what color I wanted to go with what rub-on, because all the pieces are sold separately versus in a kit like all the rest.

These are going to be great for Christmas cards or anywhere. I even did a flower on my window next to my desk ( don't tell my hubby), and it went on there.

You can see these in my store. http://www.amemorytoscrap.com/cart/ Just click on the words NEW PrODUCT on the left. (I would put a picture in the blog, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.)

The Beginning

Being an English major, I have never had a problem writing. At the same time knowing my thoughts are going to be on the internet is a little intimidating. I worry about spelling and punctuation, so bare with me. I am really am excited about getting my scrapbook ideas out.
