Yesterday I got around to opening the My Mind's Eye box that just arrived. I knew at CHA Summer I had like their kits, that's why I bought them, lol. Opening the box reminded me how fun their colors are this season. The girly paper is very sassy and the boyish paper is 100% little boy. I am dieing to get a chance to use the Best Buddies kit. The colors are perfect for summer pictures of my son and his friends. There are 4 other kits available also. Check them out:
Piggy Tales has done it again. At summer show they realeased a lift the flap book that would make great Christmas presents. At the show last week-end they released the slide books. The slide books are just as fun as the flap books. My new order of flap books should be here any day.
You can get yours here:http://www.amemorytoscrap.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=33&products_id=748
The slide books have already been ordered and should be shipping to me around the first of November. I am taking pre orders for the slide books and page slides.

This kit is truly a girly kit. The paper is embossed and glittered. The little flowers are frosted. Even the polka dots on the letters and ribbon are shiny.
The design team has done a great job of creating pages to use with pictures of the pricess in your life. Another spin on the pages for someone like me who is surrounded by boys, I am going to use my pages to describe me and my likes. Since I rarely get to do frilly pages in my book for the rest of my family, this months kit provides me the right tools to do just that.
Here is the link to the page layouts that are included with colors photos and instructions in this months kit:

Laurie and Karen made some of the cutest baby pages. The Lola & Luke Paper from 3 Bugs really made Laurie's 8 Month Pages precious. Gael and Bobbie, bless their hearts, made great pages for their Red Hat Group without even having a single picture. Dawna and Diana both finished off albums they had been working on. Isn't that just be the best feeling? I could just go on and on about the fun and pages we created.
The ticker has been reset for the next crop, September 7th, contact me to join the fun.

There is a border set that I played with. What I loved is this diamond pattern. I was able to make one diamond red velvet and the next black velvet. If I want it SUPER bright, I just applied the color twice.
A couple other companies released these also at CHA. What I liked about 7 gypsies is that I got to choose what color I wanted to go with what rub-on, because all the pieces are sold separately versus in a kit like all the rest.
These are going to be great for Christmas cards or anywhere. I even did a flower on my window next to my desk ( don't tell my hubby), and it went on there.
You can see these in my store. http://www.amemorytoscrap.com/cart/ Just click on the words NEW PrODUCT on the left. (I would put a picture in the blog, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.)
